He was sometimes refered to as the ‘European Ed Wood’ : The awful Dr. Orloff (1962 – starring Howard Vernon), The Blood of Fu Manchu (1968 – starring Christopher Lee), Count Dracula / El Conde Dracula (1970 – starring Christopher Lee as the immortal count), Jack the Ripper (1976 – starring Klaus Kinski) , etc. A total of 207 IMDB-credits as a director (!!!) from 1954 to 2013.
