Whale , James : 7″ x 9″ London theatre program(me) for Love at second sight (1927) – FRANKENSTEIN (pr.0039)


JAMES  WHALE  (1889 – 1957)  was a British director, who directed Frankenstein (1931) , The Old Dark House (1932) – both starring Boris Karloff -, The Invisible Man (1933) and The Bride of Frankenstein (1935).

This London theatre program(me) from Love at Second Sight dates from 1927. James Whale appeared as an actor (!!!) in this play, which was written by Miles Malleson.

Reasonable condition (discoloration, rusty staple, once folded in two, date in blue pencil on the front cover , 3 holes in the left hand side, etc.)

A very rare item !
